A familiar name is leaving the South Carolina football staff. Ex-Gamecocks star DeVonte Holloman, who spent the past season in an off the field role under Shane Beamer, is leaving the program to become the next head coach at Pinewood Prep in Summerville, a source with knowledge of the situation confirmed to The State. Scott Eisberg of WCIZ first reported the news on Tuesday morning. Holloman starred at South Carolina between 2009 and 2012, helping the Gamecocks to a pair of 11-win seasons as a junior and senior.
