journal-scene/journal-scene/news The Berkeley County Coroner's Office was notified at 3:20 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2023, of a traffic fatality on Lancashire Road in Summerville. The unrestrained driver was the only occupant in the vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene from injuries sustained in the single-vehicle collision. The victim was positively identified as Anthony T. Shiner, of Summerville. Berkeley County Sherriff's Office, C&B Fire & Rescue and Berkeley County EMS also responded to the incident.
