A pair of academy athletes from Summerville have made their college plans official. Danny Flatt Jr. and Noah Chapman played high school baseball for Summerville schools before joining the P27 Performance Academy baseball program. Flatt formerly played for Pinewood Prep while Chapman played for Summerville. This school year the athletes attend the P27 Performance Academy based in Lexington full time, training and competing year round while taking online classes. As a part of the National Academies Association, their P27 team competes against teams representing other baseball academies in North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
